Apprentice of the Year 2020
As part of our commitment to staff development, we run an extensive apprenticeship scheme that arms young people of today with valuable skills that they can apply in the workplace.
Ranging from welding and fabrication to powder coating and design engineering, all of our apprentices work directly with experienced members of staff in their respective fields, providing guidance and support by sharing their valuable knowledge and experience.
To celebrate the success of our apprentices, we like to show our appreciation by selecting an Apprentice of the Year as recognition for all their commitment and hard work.
It was a tough decision choosing a winner as all of our apprentices are excellent and have really applied themselves over the past 12 months.
A huge congratulations to Alex Oakley for winning our Apprentice of the Year award. As this years winner, Alex received a personalised trophy in recognition of his achievement, a £200 red letter day voucher to spend on an experience of his choice, and he's earned a prestigious place on our Apprentice of the Year plaque!
Alex was chosen for his attitude, flexibility, time-keeping, and his progression at college as well as in the workplace; he has progressed immensely and has now started his Level 3 Welding and Fabrication course.
Well done Alex from all of us at A&T!
