Motor Control Centres

Motor Control Centres

Designed, engineered, and manufactured for a wide range of applications, our motor control centres are crafted with precision using only the highest quality materials.

Creative Solutions For Limited Space Environments

Having been established for over 30 years, our motor control centres are installed worldwide in various industries and we have experience working with the majority of UK Water Companies and are ready for AMP7 (2020-2025). With creative solutions for limited space environments, our motor control centres can also be manufactured with corner sections, with back-to-back and U-shape options also available, as well as overhead busbar sections.

Motor control centres (MCCs) are useful in centralising the distribution of power and controlling the motors in the process industry. At A&T Enclosures, we specialise in manufacturing high-quality MCCs that offer efficient and reliable solutions for various commercial and industrial applications.

We provide enclosures that are full height and contain an ASTA/KEMA certified Fault Rated Busbar system. You don’t have to worry about the quality of our motor control centres because they comply with BS EN 61439-2.

Our team of experts are adept at manufacturing MCCs according to the specific needs of each client, ensuring they deliver optimal safety, performance, and ease of operation.

Understanding motor control centres

Motor control centres are centralised systems that control and manage the operation of electric motors and other electrical devices in industrial settings. Typically, they are used in industries such as water treatment, manufacturing, power generation, oil and gas.

The various electrical components housed by MCCs are circuit breakers, motor starters, fuses, and control relays. Thanks to this centralisation, the management of motor-driven processes is streamlined. Also, you enjoy enhanced protection and control.

Applications of A&T Enclosures motor control centres

Our motor control centres are used in a broad range of applications and industries, including:

  • Oil and gas - MCCs manage the motors driving critical processes, such as refining, pumping, and drilling.
  • Manufacturing - MCCs are critical in managing the operation of motors involved in conveyor systems, production lines, and other machinery.
  • Power generation - MCCs play a crucial role in controlling the motors used in different stages of power generation, including turbine operation and fuel handling.
  • Water treatment - The motors operating mixers, pumps, and other equipment essential to water treatment processes are controlled by motor control centres.
