Offering a combination of protection against foreign objects and moisture, we can design your enclosure to the latest BS EN 60529 standards. From protection against objects greater than 50mm all the way through to being dust tight, your new enclosure can also be protected against varying degrees of moisture and water pressure; offering protecting from light rain to powerful water jets. We can manufacturer enclosures with independently proven IP ratings, depending on their application.

An IP rating has two digits with the first representing protection against solids and the second digit representing protection from liquids. The higher the number for either digit, the higher the level of protection; the letter x is used in place of a number to denote that no testing has been carried out for that classification. A rating of zero means that the enclosure offers no protection.
